Corsemaul Golden Retrievers

About me

It all started in 1982 with Lady Aston who we got via the rescue from an American Air Force family who wanted an English countryman's dog, then quickly went off the idea.
Aston was predominantly Deerflite breeding. She was a wonderful companion, and from having her we really had to have another Golden.
Two years later we got a Happy Lad boy - he was Ghaela Exquisite Lad (Buddy). It was thanks to him that I got started in showing, and working, in fact everything. He was my constant friend, and is sorely missed.
By this time the bug had bitten and we then got Namorick Kola Pops Of Corsemaul (Kola). She was 18 months old when she came to us, and the following year we won the G.R.C.S. Northern Award which was a great thrill. Kola never liked showing and was never more pleased than when she was left at home on the settee with Aston and by that time Buddy.

It was a very proud moment when having bred our first ever dog Corsemaul Gaelic Highland Wanderer (Toby) to go out and win at his first Ch. show. Toby won a lot of his puppy classes, and then went on to win numerous B.O.B.'s, Group's, and B.I.S.'s. In 1986 we saw the arrival of Kerrien Caladonian Of Corsemaul (Cally). From the first time he got home everybody loved him. He came out at 6 months and a week and won Best Puppy in Breed at Manchester Ch.Show when it was last held at Belle Vue in a record entry; he went on to win well all through his puppy classes with many Best Puppy In Shows. This he continued right through his showing career.
